A Celebration of History at the Historic Sawtooth Lodge
Thank you to everyone who joined Preservation Idaho for a memorable afternoon at the iconic Sawtooth Lodge, established in 1927!
In partnership with the Sawtooth Lodge and Barbara Perry Bauer, historian and founding member of TAG Historical Research & Consulting, we were delighted to welcome guests for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour and lunch experience.
Barbara and special guests brought the Lodge's rich history to life, sharing fascinating stories and lesser-known details about Emile Grandjean, Harriet “Babe” Hanson, and longtime owners Marie and Albert Lockett. Guests enjoyed a rare opportunity to explore the historic property, learn about its architectural significance, and hear about the exciting vision for its future.
It was an afternoon filled with storytelling, exploration, and meaningful connections - all in celebration of one of Idaho's most treasured historic places.
A special thank-you to Barbara, the Sawtooth Lodge team, and everyone who made this experience so memorable. We are grateful for the opportunity to share, celebrate, and help preserve Idaho's remarkable history!
