Step into Bovill’s rich logging history as we explore the community’s historic commercial district and learn about the people, places, and stories that shaped this small Idaho town. The tour will include a special inside peek at the historic Bovill Opera House, followed by a guided walk through the commercial district.

To celebrate the evening after the tour, join us at the Elk Saloon for a complimentary glass of house beer or wine and a chance to continue the conversation.

Bovill is one of Idaho’s newest potential historic districts, currently awaiting consideration for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. Come discover what makes this remarkable logging community worthy of preservation.

Tour Distance: Less than half a mile.

Tour Length: Approximately an hour + raising a glass at the Elk Saloon after to the tour.

Accessibility: This tour is not fully accessible and includes stairs at the Opera House, uneven surfaces, and unpaved areas.

Walking Conditions: This is a rural area, so participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, sturdy shoes appropriate for uneven and unpaved surfaces.

Parking: Attendees can park on the street along Second Ave.
