For over 40 years, Preservation Idaho has worked to protect historic places of significance to Idahoans through collaboration, education and advocacy.

A strong economy often bodes ill for historic buildings as land prices attract developers preferring demolition and new construction. Where and Why?

Our advocacy committee focused preservation of art, architectural history, and design of the recent past, namely during the 1950’s - 1970’s.

Most of our tours run May through October. We also consider requests for special tours. Watch for updates when the next season approaches.
