Our thoughts and hearts are with you during these unprecedented times and we hope that you are all doing well while protecting and supporting one another. We love our community and are disappointed that we don’t get to share in many of our Spring scheduled tours and events with you all, so we’ve compiled a list of ways that you can continue to enjoy historic preservation from home whether you’re by yourself, with your family, or meeting up digitally with your friends!
Take a walk or bike through a historic district near you! The Idaho State Historic Preservation Office has a great interactive map that can help you find a district near you and access the original National Register nomination that can tell you more about its significance.
Browse the Idaho Architecture Project. Or better yet, upload information on your home or another building that is not listed! (We are in the process of updating this platform to make it more user friendly and robust. If you would like to donate to help support this program you please visit our donation page.)
