Street Level, Eye Level, and Underfoot: Exploring the History Along Grove and Broad Streets
Presented by Barbara Perry Bauer, Historian and TAG Historical Research Owner
Neighborhoods in Boise have been through many changes over the past decades especially those in the downtown core. In the 21st century, new buildings and roads have reshaped the city. Railroad tracks were removed. Modern multi-story commercial and apartment buildings tower over downtown dominating the skyline. Once divided by railroad tracks Grove and Broad Streets still have historic buildings tucked below the high rises. Take a stroll along Grove and Broad Streets with Barbara Perry Bauer to discover the architecture, history, and hidden tidbits of this downtown area.
Tour will begin at CW Moore Park. Parking available on the stret and at surrounding parking garages.
