Ernest J. Lombard, FAIA

Ernest Lombard is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects, whose passion for architecture and history has resulted in four decades of advocacy and photographic storytelling to preserve architectural landmarks. Lombard worked with renowned Boise midcentury architect Nat Adams at the beginning of his career, and moved on to co-found his own firm, Lombard-Conrad Architects. Mr. Lombard’s championing led to preservation and public use of a multi-award-winning 1880s ghost town: Bayhorse, Idaho. He has served on Idaho’s Architectural Licensing Board; the University of Idaho’s advisory board; the AIA Idaho Chapter on the Board and Committees; and the NCARB exam committee.
